Our Mission
Defectech uses 3D mapping and AI models to detect, document and manage building defects enabling rapid, proactive and cost-effective detection and resolution of defects creating safer, more sustainable structures and higher asset values.
Defectech is an enabled building services provider committed to transforming the way asset inspections are performed. The company was founded by Meher Bahl, an award-winning heritage specialist and architect, who identified the limitations of traditional inspection processes—characterised by slow workflows, disconnected systems, multiple stakeholders, and significant safety risks.
She is joined by Ralph Noronha, co-founder, who brings extensive experience across banking, financial services, and entrepreneurship to strengthen the company’s strategic and operational foundation. Motivated by the challenges of inspecting complex and inaccessible assets, Meher and Ralph established Defectech to deliver a safer, more efficient, and technology-driven approach to building inspections.
